We have hosted ELLIS Summer Schools on Machine Learning for Healthcare and Biology in 2023, 2024 and 2025 bringing expert speakers to Manchester for three days of discussions on the latest research.
We currently starting to plan our next Summer School which will take place in Manchester from 7-9 July 2026.

2025 ELLIS Manchester Summer School on Machine Learning for Healthcare and Biology
After successful events in 2023 and 2024, we hosted our third ELLIS Summer School on Machine Learning for Healthcare and Biology in June 2025.
As in previous years, this three-day event will bring participants up-to-speed on the latest methods and technologies in machine learning with a focus on healthcare and biology.
For 2025, alongside the usual talks from leading researchers, the summer school also provided participants with hands-on experience via interactive live demonstrations.
